2 Ways to Jump-Start your Inventory Management

Dev-Blog #19 Inventory Management

*DISCLAIMER: DoS2 is still in early development. Images, video, and graphics shown, may change or may not appear in the final version of the game.*

Managing your items you’ve scavenged can be quite the challenge, especially when in pursuit by the undead. It’s vital to have your inventory well organized, or at least have slots available. Here are a few ways to improve your inventory system.

1) Your Inventory Space Will Double:

As mentioned in a prior blog post, crafting a backpack will add as many slots as a Tactics Backpack from DoS1. However, for DoS2, the more inventory space, the more difficult the backpack is to make. But the benefits outweigh the cost and time. Having that extra space for items will open up opportunities for you to explore the world around you, and give you the ability to build more traps.

The more advanced your backpack, the more expanded your arsenal becomes.

2) The Death Mower has Double Storage:

When you start the game, you may find that the Death Mower Truck is an oversized storage box on wheels. This vehicle can hold just as much as a military backpack, which gives you double the amount of storage.
